....Bas & Lokes
So, I have been a 'friend' of Bas, from Bas & Lokes, a leather goods specialist based in Australia, for a little while.
I have followed their work through the magnificent medium of >>> 'instagram', a very well know 'photographic sharing App'
for various devices including iPhone and iPad! (recently bought by Facebook, after forming in 2009, for a cool $1 Billion!!!).
They are a two person and one dog team!!
Anyway, back to B&L, love their work, and the pictures that I have witnessed over the past months have been amazing.
I love their cool style and laid back vibe.
With a very clean and crisp website, offering cool straps amongst other leather accessories, it was a must for me.
Anyway, I received a package on Monday, from Bas, with a couple of straps that I had been lusting after, especially the
'Bourne' (review will follow shortly!) and the 'Conrad', which is the subject of this review.
After a little thought, I decided that the Conrad would be for my BR01-97 PR SS.
So, on to some pics!
The Conrad strap.
...an ammo looking strap, stitch less and offering 5 lovely oval holes!
Subtle limited black stitch on this beautiful vintage style deep tan leather (hard to capture exact colour!)
...great thickness and feel to this strap, and the holes actually accommodate the OEM buckle, which is
a preference for me personally! I wide floating keeper, simple and clean.
...a great partnership with this Steel BR01.
...and for a few important wrist shots.
...very comfortable and very supple, considering its look and style.
Many thanks to Bas, for B&L quality of work.
I will be purchasing again in the future!

...MANY THANKS for looking.
