    CERAMIC or STEEL

    Hello,

please let me know as an expert: what is more shock / drop proof - steel or ceramic case ?

As for scratch resistance I assume it is ceramic, but what about mechanical shocks?

    Best regards,

I would say that Ceramic, is scratch resistant and great for general day to day wear.
However, if you "drop" your watch regularly, then Steel may be safer!

    Here is an issue:

Does warranty cover that? If not, do you have any idea of replacement costs?

    Thanks,

I highly doubt the warrantee would cover any damage to the watch that was self inflicted.

Unfortunately I would not know the costs of a replacement case but just ring up an AD close to you and they should be able to find out for you.

Ceramic = scratch proof, but sensitive to shocks
Steel = sensitive to scratch, but stronger facing shocks

Best option is to try them both and see what your heart say. Or buy them both
