Why would a watch with a quartz movement (as per the back of your watch) have a power reserve indicator on the face of the watch? If you don't know what a power reserve indicator is, read about it here:

The genuine does not have a carbon fiber look dial.

The hands are different on the genuine 97.

The genuine does not have a black PVD finish (that I know of).

The genuine does not have a quartz movement.

The lug screws on the back of yours are etched on and are not real screws.

And that’s just at first glance.

Sorry but it is 100% fake.

It's amazing how many fakes are posted to this message board. Equally amazing to think that these are likely only the tip of the iceberg! To anyone who is considering the purchase of a nice watch (especially online), please do your homework and ensure you're dealing with an AD or a trusted source before parting with your hard-earned money.

Interesting point! However, I would argue that all the information a faker needs to build a convincing-looking watch is already out there - product brochures, images of authentic watches online, etc. In many cases, this is the same information I use when attempting to determine if a watch is real or fake. My feeling is that the fakers, perhaps relying on the fact that most of their customers will overlook the inconsistencies (never mind the inner workings), will remain satisfied to get it "close enough"!

If you've made a fake that looks as bad as this one, you're not paying close enough attention to the internet.
