    Bell & Ross Serial Numbers

Does anyone know what the various numbers that make up the serial number mean ? I am really trying to determine the manufacture date but would also be interested in knowing if their was any futher info encoded in the serial number. I have a Panerai as well and can tell 10 things just from the serial number.

    Thanks !

    Hi,

    Welcome to the forum.

If you tell us what model Bell and Ross you are referring to and the serial number of this watch someone may be able to help you out.

As you can guess, small numbers mean first produced.
    What model is it?

    Hi everyone,

I recently acquired a 126.XL that is #S00262. No Box or papers were included so I am curious to know how old it is. It has the ETA 2894-2, 37 Jeweled movement. On the face it the GMT time indicator on the outside of the regular hour makers. Previous owner had the pushers replaced because the top one broke. Also, anyone have a ballpark figure for what it would cost to have the movement serviced? Thanks
