    BR-01 winding

Bought a BR-01 Steel 2 weeks ago. Wind in for 20-30 turns but the second hand is not moving. Only after i pushed in and locked the crown then the seconds hand moved. Is that normal? I read that the seconds hand should moved after 20-30 winds.

Full winding is 40 times when PR is at zero.
But, if the second hand works when Crown is screwed, where's the problem ?

Pardon my ignorance as i am new to this brand of watch. Had read about the overwinding issue due to no protection mechanism in the BR watches. Thus dare not win to 40 turns. Also some other BR owners told me the second hand should move after winding for 20+ turns.

Mine doesn't turn thus i am afraid they might be some problems.

If you look at instructions booklet, it's written 40 times.
Always do that for years with my BR, when watch is stopped..

Brought my watch to the local service centre to take a look. The technician there said the second hand is too close to the minute hand. Adjusted for me so no more problem.

Sigh. Again tried to wind the watch but same problem as before. Second hand only started moving after pulling crown to position 1 or 2. Seems like the Singapore B&R service centre did nothing.
