    Power reserve question

My 03 commando. I don't wind it but wear it all the time. Saturday I took it off and left it till Monday morning. It had stopped around 6;00 pm. Is the 42 hour reserve based on max winding it wearing? Or are they the same?

    Thanks Bruce

    It should be the same.
When PR is at zero, wind it manually 40 times and you'll have your 42 hours letting your watch on your desk.
After a day at wrist, you'll have the same 42 hours.
    Try it!

Have worn it all day. It is Saturday at 7:30 pm and I am putting it down. I should be able to put it on Monday at 7:30 am and still be running right? Ok, let's go.

It is still on time, but I did change the test at the last minute. I wound it too, I figured I needed to know if the full wind keeps the power as long as it should. I will be happier knowing that the full wind keeps the power, and the wearing is less so.

As a side note, I other than seeing that it was running, I left it till now. So I am at 43 hours. Good for a 42 hour movement.
