    Limited edition question

I've just purchased my first Bell & Ross and my first luxury watch. It's aBR03-94 carbon orange.

The watch is a limited edition of 500 pieces according to the b&r site. However, My watch states xxx/250. The xxx is my unit number and not actual "xxx" text. The retailer called up B&R and they told me it's that this unit is the first lot of 250 and the next lot of the to total 500 starts with 251/500 and thus giving the total of 500. My question is why his dual lot format? Why shouldn't my watch state 177/500 (if 177 was my unit)?

And yes, I bought it from an authorized retailer live. No internet sales. It has me a bit worried and thus I seek clarity.

    Thank you in advance

It's strange they numbered them like that, but others on the forum have their 03-94 Carbon Orange watches with the same xxx/250 numbering, so no need to worry.

Why worry about that ? The important point is that there're just 500 pieces of this model and no more. Enjoy your watch

Yep mine is 136/250 and confirmed by B&R that they did it this way. My guess is, the popularity was more than expected?? Who knows. Awesome watch - welcome to the club and wear it well

Thank you all for your reassurance on my question. Conclusion is that there is no worry, but we don't know why. Curiosity won't get me down, this watch is awesome thus far. Many complements and even now have friends seeking their own B&R style. Herein is pic. Take care gents.

I know it might be strange and we are not used to it, but this limited edition came in two batch of production.

The first one has number from 001/250 to 250/250, and the second batch from 251/500 to 500/500.
It gives even more lucky numbers for collectors.

    Enjoy your new watch mate!

    Hi Guys,
I was in Hong Kong last week, and trying to track down one of the 03-94 Oranges. Of course due to its 'Limited Edition' nature, it was pretty hard to source (one official dealer said they could get one, but it would take a week).

One of the interesting take-aways, was that 2 x dealers independently told me that this model (03-94 Orange) was going to be (re)released in November as part of B&R's 'Standard' 03-94 range.

Is anyone able to confirm/deny these comments?

As far as I know, the 0394 carbon orange is a ltd to 500pcs. No more pieces produced, nor sold like a standard one.

November will be the time for another incredible Ltd ---> BR-X1
