    BR03-88 v. BR0392-AVIA-CA or BR0392-AVIA-ST

From what I understand, when the analogue and digital quartz aviation watches were first issued, they were designated as the BR03-88.

The B&R website now describes the watch as the BR0392-AVIA-ST or BR0392-AVIA-CA.

Photographs on the Internet of the BR03-88 watches and the BR0392-Avia watches look identical to me.

Are there any differences between the earlier BR03-88 watches and the current BR0392-Avia watches? If so, what are the differences?

    Thanks in advance.

    Kronofred:

These are the aviation watches I was asking about:

    http://www.bellross.com/us/shop/watches/details/58.html

    http://www.bellross.com/us/shop/watches/details/57.html

From the B&R website: "The BR 03 Type Aviation is a symbolic and utilitarian watch which responds to the specific requirements of fighter pilots. It is fitted with a graduated bidirectional bezel and an ultra-precise multifunctional quartz movement."

    Thanks Fatboy1340 for the reply.

    Understand now what you mean...
Yes indeed, new "code" for the BR03-88 Type Aviation is now BR03-92 Avia...

The complete name was BR03-88 Aviation Type, they probable changed the reference for some reason at the headquarter but the watches remain the same.

On top of that, they are now discontinued, so get one before they are out of stock.
